After going through a trauma of getting my gums cut without proper anesthesia at another dental clinic, I had totally dropped the habit of paying an occasional visit to the dentist. However, Dr. Aravind, with his pleasant and friendly nature, not only listens to your apprehensions, however childish it may seem but also ensures that you are taken good care of. I believe this attribute of excellent care is as important as the right mix of knowledge, skill, and facilities available. This attribute is equally shared by his colleagues – Dr. Deepu, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Dr. Siddharth. I’ve had all four wisdom teeth extractions – out of which one was impacted, one prosthetic fixture, and now TENS and splint treatment for TMJ dysfunction at this clinic, and each of them was done with the utmost professionalism and excellent results. In addition, I have been suffering from severe headaches over the past 4 years, and despite visiting a multitude of doctors including various neurologists, the diagnosis always stopped at Migraine – however without any identification of root cause or triggers – possibly due to lack of clinical evidence – with little to no help from the prescribed medications. The case was diagnosed as a TMJ dysfunction only after my visit to this clinic and to me, they are nothing short of life-savers. I would strongly recommend Kovalam Dental Clinic and Dr. Aravind Krishnan to everyone, especially because of the charming ease with which he gets you through what otherwise could possibly have been a very traumatic experience. I planned my trip to visit Dr. Aravind’s dental surgery at the end of an amazing 3-week Indian holiday. I was very nervous and it didn’t help that friends were warning me that it was a potentially risky thing to do being so far away if there were any future problems. I had done my research, read the reviews of several dentists near the hotel that I was staying in, and picked this dentist. I am an extremely nervous patient and voiced this to Dr. Aravind in an email before when we were discussing the treatment I required. I shouldn’t have worried. Dr. Aravind was brilliant! He cleaned my teeth thoroughly but gently and stopped if I told him to. The impression was taken for a crown after an x-ray to show the existing root canal treatment that I’d already had in England on the tooth. That was fine and after three days, I had a text to say the crown was ready to be fitted. This was done very professionally and I’m home now and can honestly say it’s fantastic. The best part is that it cost me at least a fifth of what it would have cost in the UK. I am 100% satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Aravind. I’m already thinking of planning another trip where my husband could have some treatment.

Best dentist and great care I’ve ever had in my life. You can imagine how scary and agonizing it is when you need a major dental fix for a painful tooth and a bit of more related issues while traveling. Well, if you happen to be in Kovalam, then you’re the luckiest patient to be treated by such a great team lead by Dr. Aravind and his colleague Dr. Shemil who are always assisted by lovely Vinisha. I highly recommend this practice where you’ll get accommodatingly professional care like no other by these three kinds and caring human beings.
